Kingsley Area Schools is a class B school district with approximately 1,500 students. We are located 12 miles south of Traverse City in Grand Traverse County. In addition to our excellent academics, we are proud to offer a diverse curriculum complete with extensive extracurricular opportunities. Kingsley elementary has been recognized by the Michigan Department of Education as an 8 time Reward or Beating the Odds school. They received National Title I Distinguished honors (one of 26 in the nation that year). The elementary has been nominated for National Blue Ribbon School of Excellence (one of 13 in the state this year). The middle school has been designated as a Middle School to Watch
